✿Ecco Cafe✿

Ecco cafe, an old style coffee house located at busy Chulia Street which serves Italian dishes such as Italian pizza, snack and pasta. This coffee house had actually interviewed by 8tv Hoe Chiak crew and many bloggers. This has left me a big question mark in mind and i was wondering what is so special with this kind of coffee house?
Finally, I knew the answer after my first tried  it. I was addicted to their Truz spaghetti serves with banana! As I am the white sauce spaghetti lover, i can say that this is the best white sauce spaghetti that i had ever eat before!!

No comment because i dun like red sauce pasta=)

Garlic Bread

Overall, the ambience and food were nice but its overpriced ! However, I will still pay my second visit to them as I said, I am addicted!!!

✿ 广州饼家✿ Guang Zhou Biscuit

Last week, after my lunch with my boss--Jacgyc, his friend--Criz and my beloved colleague--Elina at Chin Bee restaurant, we went all the way down to Carnarvon Street as suggested by Criz to look for the secret "Ma Lai Go". Credit to Criz that we got to eat such special "Ma Lai Go" (Steamed Chinese Sponge Cake). ✿ =)

I can still remember clearly in my mind that it was raining heavily at the afternoon before we get to reach the shop. However, Jacgyc and Criz insisted to get down from the car  for just the cakes. How desperate were they ^^

Now, Let's see how is their cakes =)

Coconut tart--- Hao Chiak ✿

There are three different biscuits on the plate below which are (Clock wise) Siew Bao ,  Ham Dan Sou and Pineapple biscuit. The Siew bao and Ham Dan Sou tasted nice when you first bite on it, the flavour will come after this while the Pineapple biscuit is just too sweet for me.

This is the chocolate "Ma Lai Go". Special right? The chocolate of the "Ma Lai Go" with sunflower seed is fragrant enough until you want more..

This is the green tea "Ma Lai Go". My favourite!!! Its special and taste nice ^^

This is the coffee "Mai Lai Go"

The egg pudding

✿ These "Ma Lai Go"  really taste nice to me and it's highly recommended by me to all  of you ✿

♥浮罗山背♥Exploring the pretty side of Balik Pulau (Countryside of Penang)

Hi all penangites! How many of you have actually been to Balik Pulau for its nature beauty but not it’s durian??  Well, I just did it yesterday, it’s was a tiring but exciting trip that WORTH a try for all of you! Thanks to Jacgyc and Criz, I have been given the opportunity to join the trip.
The market Balik Pulau Laksa

We reached the visitor centre around 4 pm and we ate the Balik Pulau famous Laksa at the market.  To me, the Laksa was okay only as it didn’t meet my requirement. =) After briefing and having our tea break that provided by the centre, we started to explore Balik Pulau with bicycle. It has been quite some time since I last cycle. I felt nervous at first but I managed to control it at last. Yipee =) ♥

There is one thing that I need to warn the ladies. Ladies, pls prepare yourself well from getting burnt! The sun was damn hot and I wrapped myself like a mummy in Egypt! OMG, mummy is on the road~ HaHa ♥ Guess where am I in the following photo ??

The tea break

There were two tour guides in each trip who will take care of the team members, they brought us through small lanes, across the road, passed a few paddies field and reached a beach.

Paddy Field @ Jalan Sungai Nipah

That was fun where we were cycling with the wind blowing towards our direction. Go away pressure!!

Well, I don't know since how long ago I have not been enjoying the calmness of nature?

Adik, jaga ya!!!

The sun set ♥ Oo... how lovely is it~

Overall, it was a fun but tiring experience which highly recommended by me to all of you! We even get to capture the sun set as the full stop of the whole journey. So, what are you waiting for ?

♥Caffe De Strada♥

Last Wednesday night, I had my gathering dinner with my buddies at Caffe De Strade. The cafe is located at Krystal Point, Penang. We reached there around 8 something at the night and we were the only customers in the shop. =) While waiting for my other friends, I went around the shop and took some pictures.

In not more than 15 minutes, my friends arrived and we started to order for our meal as we were hungry. We ordered their set dinner which cost us RM19.90 each. The set dinner included soup of the day + main course + Free Flow drinks+ Free Flow Desserts ( Ice cream with your own topping).

The set menu

Soup of the day

Free Flow Ice Lemon Tea

Chicken marry land

Cheesy chicken

Free Flow Ice Cream

Overall, the food didn't live up to our expectations as it is overpriced for such quality of food. However, the concept of free flow drinks and free flow dessert is good where buddies can hang out chit chat over there.
